Let’s continue to support the progress we have made, hire more teachers and reduce class sizes.

  • Brought citywide full day kindergarten to Manchester Public Schools.  As a result students will have a greater foundation for learning, reading and writing at an earlier age.
  • Made the Manchester School of Technology (MST) a 4 year full-time high school for Manchester students.  At MST, students graduate with both a high school diploma and industry certification so they are career-ready on graduation day.
  • Brought lasting, meaningful public/private partnerships to the Manchester School District including: City Year New Hampshire, a 1 to 1 mentoring program in our elementary schools, AutoFair Make the Grade giving students the opportunity to win a new car for good grades, First Jr. S.T.E.A.M Ahead and S.T.E.A.M Ahead which are bringing science and technology education to our elementary and high schools and the Neighborhood Health Improvement Strategy which is transforming a neighborhood through the schools.
  • Brought forward and funded a technology plan for the Manchester School District that updated the technology infrastructure, safety network and wi-fi in city schools while purchasing hundreds of new computers and equipment.
