I hope this space will help you understand my position on the issues facing the Granite State. Below I have outlined a few that I feel are important.
I have also included a link to my voting record. It’s important that government is open to the people and that is why I hope you will use this link to learn more about myself and the past issues that have come before the State Senate and how they effect New Hampshire.
Warm Regards,

Put spending back in line with revenues. The current budget increased spending by 17.5% and revenue estimates were not within reason. We need to restore reality.
NO to increased TAXES and FEES. What we have is a spending problem NOT a revenue problem. I will not support increased taxes and fees on the back of you and your neighbor as a means to balance the budget.
In these uncertain times it's imperative that we take measures to keep New Hampshire families and seniors in their homes. With the cost of basic living essentials (gas, oil, electricity and food) on the rise we must act swiftly, and work together to make sure everyone is protected.
Pass a Constitutional Amendment (CACR 34): To allow the legislature to control the cost of an adequate education. In 2008 CACR 34 passed the house by a vote of 19-5 with bipartisan support and the backing of Governor John Lynch. It was defeated in the House.
Provide the promised funding for Charter Schools: Charter Schools are a viable alternative for parents to public schools it’s time we give them the funding they were promised.
Increased Penalties for Gang Members: Authored and successfully passed legislation increasing penalties for gang members that commit crimes.
Increased Penalties for Impersonating a Police Officer: Confidence in public safety is a must. When I learned that impersonating a police officer was a misdemeanor crime, from a constituent, I authored legislation to make it a felony. This legislation received bipartisan support and was signed into law.
