| June 26th, 2009 Gatsas for Mayor Campaign Mails First Ever City-Wide Survey: Seeks Input and Potential Solutions from Residents Manchester, NH June 26, 2009 – The Gatsas for Mayor Campaign announced that a formal survey has been sent to Manchester residents in order to solicit their thoughts and solutions to the issues facing the City of Manchester. “As I stated in my announcement speech, the solutions to our biggest challenges don’t always come from government. This survey provides residents with the opportunity to help identify our biggest challenges and offer solutions that city government should and will be considered under my administration,” said Gatsas. The survey includes a number of questions on all major topics such as; public safety, education, taxes and spending, and economic development and includes spaces for residents to provide their input. The survey began arriving in residents homes on Friday June 26th and includes a postage paid envelope to return responses. “In all my years of living in Manchester and being part of government and the political process, I have never seen someone make such a concerted effort to hear the thoughts and concerns of the people of the Queen City,” Hillsborough County Registrar of Probate and former Alderman Bob Rivard said. Pledging to utilize all available means of communicating with residents, the survey is an important component of the Listening Tour that Gatsas has embarked upon. In addition to the survey, Gatsas has been riding on the MTA bus system, going door to door, participating in public events, visiting businesses, and making phone calls.
