| July 14th, 2009 Mayoral Candidate Ted Gatsas Makes It Official: Releases Grassroots Campaign Committee list with over 100 Ward Captains July 14, 2009 Manchester, NH – Mayoral Candidate Ted Gatsas made it official today when he filed required documents to be a candidate for mayor with the city clerk. The campaign simultaneously released their grassroots campaign committee list of over 100 ward captains. Pledging to bring his bipartisan, consensus building approach to the Mayor’s Office, Gatsas formally entered the race to be Manchester’s next mayor. Campaigning on making government more effective and efficient and the need to enact a long-term strategic plan that provides a clear vision for moving the city forward, Gatsas has been building support for his candidacy over the last month. Gatsas said, “I could not be more pleased with the level of support and enthusiasm our campaign has received in the six short weeks since our announcement at City Hall. As I have traveled around the city listening to the concerns of fellow residents and their ideas for overcoming our biggest challenges, I am filled with optimism for our future. While there is no doubt that we a number of obstacles to overcome, I’m confident that we can build a better Manchester together.” The Gatsas Grassroots Campaign Committee, consisting of over 100 members, has already conducted two organizational meetings in the last few weeks in order to identify supporters, assemble lawn sign lists, build a volunteers army for get out the vote efforts, and to grow the grassroots organization.
