How Many Steps Does it Take to Get to City Hall?
Gatsas announces 12 Ward Tour and Interactive Website Feature

October 1, 2009, Manchester, NH – Today the Gatsas for Mayor campaign announced a 12 ward tour through the city of Manchester.  “We are bringing this campaign to the people of Manchester in their home wards one step at a time.  Since we kicked off our campaign and listening tour we have been walking the neighborhoods and meeting the people and I am excited to continue this journey in an even bigger way,” Gatsas began.

Gatsas has added an interactive feature on his website for people to follow him as he walks ward by ward and visits various locations around Manchester.  At www.tedgatsas.com you will find a pedometer that tracks the steps Ted has taken and an interactive map called a “schmap”. “Our goal in adding this feature which combines Twitter and Schmap GeoTweeting was to utilize technology to provide useful information to residents. The voters of Manchester will now have the ability to track Ted’s real-time engagements within the city. While residents appreciate this information, the campaign enjoys the ability to share information with free technologies that are efficient and effective,” added Sean Owen, President of Wedu Inc.  You can also follow Ted on twitter and receive a tweet when he’s walking.

The Gatsas campaign released a schedule of a twelve ward tour through the city.  "Everyday we are meeting people, listening to their concerns and hearing about their solutions for the city.  I am glad to continue this journey one conversation at a time and thank the people of Manchester for allowing me this opportunity" concluded Gatsas.  Events will continually be added to the schedule and publicized at www.tedgatsas.com.
