Raising awareness and bringing forward solutions with defined goals and outcomes is how we will continue to make our city a safer place for everyone.

  • Brought forward a 60-day action plan to battle heroin addiction in Manchester that calls for:
    • increasing awareness in city schools;
    • Increasing physician education in coordination with city hospitals;
    • a drop-box for unused medications in visible safe locations;
    • a drug court at Hillsborough County North;
    • increased treatment and rehabilitation options that can be easily accessed.
  • Increased safety in our neighborhoods, on city city streets and in our parks:
    • increasing the compliment of city police officers;
    • increased downtown foot patrols and;
    • implementation of predictive and hot-spot policing methods to effectively reduce crime in the city.
  • Worked with the Manchester’s safety officials to bring forward and replace the Computer-Aided Dispatch System for emergency responders and EMTs to meet the life safety needs of city residents.
