NFIB New Hampshire PAC Endorses Ted Gatsas for Executive Council “We support the candidates who support small business”

Concord, NH, (Oct. 29, 2018) – NFIB announced that its New Hampshire political action committee had endorsed Ted Gatsas who is running for Executive Council in District 4.

“Ted Gatsas knows what it takes to create jobs and understands the challenges that small-business owners face in New Hampshire. He is committed to making this state a better place to raise a family and own a business,” said Bruce Berke, NFIB’s New Hampshire state director.

“Ted Gatsas has proven himself a steadfast ally of small business,” Berke said. “The Mayor has done so by helping to create a positive business climate in NH so that small businesses will feel confident in its decisions that increase costs.…..decisions like increasing wages, hiring additional employees and making new capital expenditures.”

“Small business owners do not make these decisions lightly and there are many factors that go into the operations that are designed to successfully grow a business. But when you have an elected official like Ted Gatsas advocating for policies that are supportive of small business issues, the business owner may more confidently make those tough decisions that help them grow their business.”

Berke concluded, “As former small business owner, Ted Gatsas knows the importance of NH’s small, family-owned businesses and understands the necessity of reducing the government’s role in people’s lives and as importantly, the jobs that small businesses create.”

NFIB is the leading small-business association in the nation with over 1,400 members in New Hampshire representing a cross-section of the state's economy. The endorsements come from the NFIB NH PAC, the association’s state political action committee, and are based on voting records or surveys of candidates on small business issues and member input.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for NFIB NH PAC-endorsed candidates this year in the General Election.
